ANAHEIM — Willie Nagami, dance chair, announced that the reservation deadline has been extended until Tuesday, Aug. 27, for the OCBC August Aloha dance set for Saturday, Aug. 31.

The dance starts at 7 p.m. and goes until 11:30 p.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave. in Anaheim. The Hawaiian/beach-themed dance is a fundraiser for the OCBC 50th Anniversary Project.

Kokoro (“Music with Soul”) headlines the dance, featuring vocalists Lauren Kinkade Wong, Steven Santiago and Jennifer Cella, with DJ music by Nagami.  The band members are Glenn Nishida, Wayne Horino, Michael Chung, Wayne Nagao, Gary Liesback and Jesse Acuna.
