She is survived by her sons, David (Lily) and Dennis Nakatani; grandchildren, Cynthia Nakatani (Niels Thomsen), Sharon Nakatani (James Goddard, Dennis, Jr., Candace Van Buren and Michael; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mitzi Okazaki and Fusako (James) Morita; sister-in-law, Eileen Takemoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
