Private services for the late Hoover Masumi Hiroto, 85-year-old, Los Angeles-born Nisei, who passed away on Aug. 23, 2013, were held on Friday, Sept. 6 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden” with Pastor Cory Ishida of Evergreen Baptist Church San Gabriel Valley officiating.
He is survived by his children; sons, John (Julie), Roy (Marlyn) and Paul (Monica) Hiroto; daughter, Kim Powers; grandchildren, Katie (Jeremy) Casey, Corie and Caitlin Hiroto, Kyle and Lindsay Hiroto, Baileigh, Ali, Cole Trotter, Meghan Powers; brother, Thomas Hiroto; sister-in-law, Mary Hiroto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
