SAN FRANCISCO — “Is-sho-Ni: Coming Together for Kimochi Seniors” is the theme of the 30th “Sansei Live,” to be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 6 pm. to midnight at 1 Ferry Plaza in San Francisco.
The event, a benefit for Kimochi’s programs and services for seniors, will feature two of the Bay Area’s best dance and party bands: Big City Revue (www.bigcityrevue.com) and Rendezvous (www.rendezvousband.com).
The co-emcees will be broadcast news reporters Robert Handa and Jana Katsuyama of KTVU-TV (Channel 2).
The event also features a “Yonsei Lounge” for the next generation; a raffle, light hors d’oeuvres, and a no-host bar.
Raffle prizes are two domestic round-trip tickets on United Airlines, $1,000 and $500. Winners need not be present to win.
