David Matsumoto, 63-year-old Los Angeles resident, passed away on October 20, 2013. David is survived by his loving daughter, Pamela Jeanette Matsumoto of Nevada; mother, Emiko Matsumoto; sister, Karen (Kenneth) Matsumoto Deck; brother, Kenneth Eugene (Wendy) Matsumoto; aunt, Akiko (Masuo) Okui; mother of Pamela Matsumoto, Leslie Shannon; nieces, Mia, Emi and Lana Deck; nephews, Carter and Owen Deck. David is predeceased by his father, Yutaka Matsumoto, and uncle, Toshikazu Tamura. David is also survived by many other relatives both here and in Nevada.
Private family services were held on October 26, 2013 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” officiated by Rev. Fumiaki Usuki of West Los Angeles Buddhist Church.
