Takeshi “Tak” Kohatsu, an 80-year-old, California-born Nisei, former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII, passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2013 due to a sudden illness.
Beloved husband of Margie; devoted father of Mel, Wendy and Sandy; brother of Aiko; brother-in-law of Gladys. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A “Celebration of Life” luncheon will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, 11 a.m. at Quiet Cannon, 901 Via Clemente, Montebello, CA 90640. Casual attire please. The family kindly requests that flowers be omitted.
