SAN FRANCISCO — Asian Americans Advancing Justice (Asian Law Caucus) will present the 16th annual “Irrelevant, Immaterial and Trivial” team trivia competition on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Patron’s Hall of St. Mary’s Cathedral, 1111 Gough St. (at Geary), San Francisco.

Questions will cover a wide range of topics — sports, food, music, movies, geography, current events and more. Sample questions:

A. What TV series features the Starks and Baratheons?

B. What type of animal was Rikki-Tikki-Tavi?

C. Who was the oldest person sent into space?

Teams must have a minimum of eight and a maximum of 12 players. Teams needing additional members can be matched with individual players at the event.

Doors open at 6 p.m. Free parking. Food and drinks available for purchase. All proceeds benefit Asian Americans Advancing Justice.

Entry fees: $20 for students and nonprofit employees; $40 general; $60 to $1,500 for sponsorships with special perks.
