The Japanese American Optimist Club of Los Angeles (JAO) hosted its annual Christmas Party for underprivileged children from various locations throughout the Los Angeles area at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Center (formerly Maryknoll) in Little Tokyo on Dec. 21. Approximately 150 children enjoyed lunch, entertainment and gifts distributed by Santa.
