Private family funeral services for the late Tom Toshiyuki Sakata, 89-year-old Courtland, CA-born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on November 15, 2013, were held on December 4, 2013 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” officiated by Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
Tom is survived by his loving children, Richard, Arnold and Jeff (Suzanne) Sakata, Annette (Don) Sakakura and Lucy (Jimmy) Okabayashi; 9 grandchildren; and 1 sister. Tom is also survived by many other loving family members.
