Mr. Akira Hirata, 99, passed away peacefully on Jan. 8, 2014. He is survived by his loving grandson, Scott Toshio (Nan) Ito; loving great-grandchildren, Cailene and Nora Ito.
Private family services were held at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
