Funeral services for the late Mr. George Nakayama, a Val Verde, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Gardena, former internee of Rowher & Jerome relocation camps during WWII who honorably served his country in the U.S. Army MIS, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, 10 a.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W.158th St., Gardena, CA 90247.
Mr. Nakayama was predeceased by his beloved wife Marjorie. Devoted father of Richard (Stephanie) Nakayama and Susan (Martin) Siaw; proud grandfather of Timothy and Andrew Siaw and Matthew Nakayama; also survived by 4 siblings and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
