Mitsue Yamachika passed away Dec. 12, 2013 in Orange, Calif., surrounded by her 3 daughters and caretaker. She was born on Nov. 25, 1921 and was the beloved wife of the late Masami Yamachika; and mother of Yoshiko (James) Yahiro, Toshiko (Deen) Matsuzawa and Yoko Yamachika. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister in Japan. Mitsue came to this country in 1969 and lived in Orange, where she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all. Service to be held Dec. 27 at 10 a.m. at Fairhaven Memorial Cemetery in Santa Ana, Calif.
