The Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, 244 S. San Pedro St. in Little Tokyo, will present an afternoon of Hawaiian music on Sunday, Feb. 2.

Join George Kahumoku Jr., a master of slack key Hawaiian music and four-time Grammy winner, for a day of music, learning, and aloha at U-Space. He will be holding one class each for ukulele (1:30 p.m.) and guitar (3 p.m.) in the slack key style.
U-Space, located in the JACCC, is the new center for learning music and building community through ukulele and guitar.
Workshops are 75 minutes long. Tickets are $30 for one workshop and $50 for both. Handling service fee applicable. All ticket sales are final; no refunds or exchanges.
