A funeral service for Minoru Henry Matsumoto, 94-year-old, Tottori, Japan-born Issei, who passed away on Feb. 16, 2014 in Orange, will be held under the auspices of the Zenshuji Soto Mission on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., L.A. Family requests that flowers be omitted.

He is survived by his daughters, Michie Noma of Japan, and Kimie (Fred) Matsumoto; grandchildren, Isamu (Reiko) and Takeshi (Seiko) Noma, both of Japan, Michael (Akemi), Gary (Sachiko) Matsumoto, and Karen (Christopher) Gallegos; six great-grandchildren; brother, Hiroshi Matsumoto; sister-in-law, Satsuko Kimura of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in U.S. and Japan.
