Funeral services for the late Mr. Shigeru “Shig” Nakagawa, 85-year-old, Hiroshima, Japan-born, resident of Whittier, Calif., who passed away peacefully on Feb. 19 with his family by his side, will be held on Saturday, March 8, 3 p.m. at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. Third St., Los Angeles.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Miyoko; daughter, Lin (Henry) Miyake; grandson, Cy Shigeru Miyake; sister, Kiyoko Yoshimura and sister-in-law, Kimiko Nakagawa, both of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
