A funeral service for Hisako Kawauchi, 88-year-old, Terminal Island born Kibei Nisei, who passed away on Feb. 9, 2014 in Gardena, will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave. R.P.V.

She is survived by her children, Linda Fujikawa and Roy and Gary (Sophie) Kawauchi: grandchildren, Alison (Brian) Lo, Derek (Annie) Fujikawa, and Dory and Lauren Kawauchi; great-grandchildren, Elise Lo and Donovan Fujikawa; sisters-in-law, Aki Fujii and Setsuko Kawauchi; brothers-in-law, Kazuo (Haruko) Kawauchi of Florida, and Yoshihiro (Tamiko) Kawauchi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives
