Metro is permanently closing down the Señor Fish parking lot on the southwest corner of First Street and Alameda Street in Little Tokyo starting Wednesday, June 25.

The parking lot will be used by Metro’s utilities contractors as a staging area in doing their work, according to Yonah Hong, Metro-Regional Connector construction relations officer.

In order to assist the public, Metro has created an informational map identifying 13 alternative parking sites in Little Tokyo. Go online to:

The building that housed Señor Fish, and the legendary Atomic Café prior to that, is slated for demolition to make way for the Regional Connector station.
