Tanaka Farms and Orange Coast Optimists host the fourth annual Walk the Farm on Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Take a leisurely 1.5 mile walk around the farm making several stops along the route to sample fresh fruits and vegetables. Proceeds from admission sales benefit a select group of farmers in Japan and Central California affected by drought. Last year, Walk the Farm raised approximately $80,000 for farmers in northern Japan still recovering from the 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

General admission: $30. Registration closes on June 8. Preregistration is required. Tanaka Farms is located at 5380 3/4 University Dr., Irvine. Dog owners can bring their dogs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Dog registration: $5.
