On Sunday, Oct. 5, the Japanese Women’s Society of Southern California will hold a luncheon celebration of its 110 years of service at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Los Angeles, 120 S. Los Angeles St. (at Second Street) in Little Tokyo.

Registration is at 10:30 a.m., luncheon and program at 11:30 a.m.

For this occasion, members will share many cultural exhibitions of tea ceremony, flower arrangements, calligraphy and music.

Established in 1904, the Japanese Women’s Society of Southern California is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide service to the community, share Japanese cultural heritage, and provide assistance to youth and those in need as it continues to build goodwill between the U.S. and Japan.
