Mr. Paul Osamu “Osam” Murakami, 50, Los Angeles-born native, resident of Pasadena, passed away on Sept. 27, at Keck Hospital of USC.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Michelle Chen; mother, Nobuko Murakami; sisters, Georgette, Jeanette and Carol Murakami of Washington, Suzanne (Gene) Matsuura, Mary Ann (Jon) Kato and Mary Ellen (Keith) Nobuhara; brother, John Murakami; also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Public visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with funeral mass to follow at St. Francis Xavier Chapel, 222 S. Hewitt St., Los Angeles.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to support the CardioVascular Thoracic Inst. at USC or Nurses of USC.
