Funeral services for the late Ted Tatsuo Sakamoto, a 94-year-old, Bakersfield, Calif.-born Kibei Nisei former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII who passed away peacefully on Sept. 28, 2014, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission.
Beloved husband of Haruye Sakamoto, neé Okuno; devoted father of Elaine Sakamoto, May (Byron) Nishiyama, and Dave (Jeannie) Sakamoto; proud grandfather of Lauren Sakamoto; loving brother of Nancy Nakamura. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
