Funeral services for the late Ted Tetsuo Sakamoto, a 94-year-old, Bakersfield, Calif.-born Kibei Nisei former internee of Poston Relocation Camp during WWII who passed away peacefully on Sept. 28, 2014, will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014 at 9 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission.
Beloved husband of Haruye Sakamoto, neé Okuno; devoted father of Elaine Sakamoto, May (Byron) Nishiyama, and Dave (Jeannie) Sakamoto; proud grandfather of Lauren Sakamoto; loving brother of Nancy Nakamura. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
