OAKLAND — The San Francisco JACL presents the 18 Mighty Mountain Warriors on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 8 p.m. at the Oakland Asian Cultural Center, 388 Ninth St. in Oakland Chinatown.

Pre-show reception at 7 p.m. No-host bar opens at 7:30 p.m.

The award-winning comedy sketch group from San Francisco is back for a one-night-only 20th anniversary performance. The 18 MMW have performed in cities from New York to Los Angeles and Hong Kong to Vancouver.

But wait! What is 18MMW? Well, just imagine “Saturday Night Live” if they actually had real Asians. Think Key & Peele if they were Asian instead of black. The 18MMW, with their wicked, no-holds-barred comedic commentary and satire, will bring new material written just for their Bay Area audience.

Proceeds benefit SF JACL’s Yo Hironaka Legacy & Education Fund, named in memory of a long-time chapter leader.

Tickets are $40 for show and reception, $20 general admission, $18 for students and seniors, $15 for groups of eight or more.

Reservations can be made online through Eventbrite. For phone reservations, call (415) 307-0247 or email sfjacl@yahoo.com.
