Mrs. Barbara Shizuye Kawai, 102, Los Angeles, Calif.-born Nisei, resident of Los Angeles passed away on Feb. 8, at her residence. She is survived by her loving family: sons, Harvey Y. (Jane Kikue) and Ronald T. (Chong S.) Kawai; granddaughter, Christy Keiko Kawai.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” 707 E. Temple St., with Rev. Nobuko Miyoshi of West Covina Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
