Private memorial service for Yoshiko Kimura, 95, a Seattle-born Nisei who passed away in Monrovia on Jan. 5, were held on Monday, Feb. 2, at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Kenichi (Lorraine Lee) Kimura; grandchildren, Bryan Lee and Kristin Akemi Kimura; sister, Hanaye Menda of Sacramento; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
