Dennis Tsutomu Hayashi, a 62-year-old Seattle, Wash.-born resident of Los Angeles, made his transition from this world on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his home in Los Angeles. Memorial services were held privately at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” officiated by Rev. Katherine Glick. He was a successful Environmental Engineer/Biologist who specialized in landfill gas mitigation.
Survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, DeAna Hayashi; stepson, Alex Brankovic; mother, Sayoko Hayashi; siblings, Grace (Kenny Erb) Kashiwagi, Davey Hayashi and Flora (Rob) Robinson; aunts and uncles, Kazuo and Margaret Satake, Takeshi Nishikawa and Judy Matsumoto; nieces and nephews, Jason and Kyle Kashiwagi, Keryssa and Courtney Robinson; cousins, Yoshi and Mako Nishikawa, Lisa Martini, Yumi Wherry, Shawn, Tori, Jesse and Alex Nishikawa, Lindsay Martini and Brandon Wherry.
