Private funeral services for the late Junpei Kawasaki, 92-year-old, California-born resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on Oct. 8, 2017, were held on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Tomoe Kawasaki; children, Ron (Mihoko) and Ken (Lisa) Kawasaki, and Gail (George) Fong; grandchildren, Tiffanie (Stuart) Jones, Jonathan, Mari and Darren Kawasaki, and Jeanette and Jennifer Fong; great-granddaughter, Katelyn Jones; brother, Kunihei (Yumiko) Kawasaki; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
