Natsuye Marge Fujimoto

Natsuye “Marge” Fujimoto, passed away peacefully Nov. 29, 2017, at the age of 92, in Gardena. She was born on July 20, 1925, in Bell, Calif., and raised in Downey, Calif. and Kobe, Japan. Marge is survived by her eldest sister, Masuko Sato of Peoria, Ariz.; daughter, Renee Tanaka; son, Mark Fujimoto; grandsons, Ryan and Michael Tanaka; sisters-in-law, Fumiko Kuromi, Chiyeko Iwasaki; brother-in-law, George Fujimoto; in addition to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Noboru Fujimoto and four sisters, Ruby Nakahara, Rose Niino, Sue Holdaway and Kay Sato.

Marge worked at Gardena High School from 1974 – 1981 and other various school offices for LAUSD before retiring in 1990.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, 11:30 a.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., RPV, CA 90275. Burial immediately following. Pastor Ki Choi of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate the services.
