Hiroye May Takata - Rafu Shimpo

Private family services for Hiroye May Takata, 94-year-old, San Francisco-born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away peacefully on Jan. 29, 2018 at Kaiser Hospital in West Los Angeles, was held on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” with Rimban William Briones from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Preceded in death by her husband, Victor Ichiro Takata, brothers Akira and Masahiko, and a sister in infancy.

Beloved mother of daughters, Akemi S. (Richard Fort) and Naomi Takata; grandmother of Brandon (Nicole) Fort; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
