Tokujiro Henry Ige - Rafu Shimpo

A funeral service for Tokujiro Henry Ige, 94-year-old, Los Angeles-born Nisei, longtime resident of West Los Angeles and WWII Army veteran, who passed away on July 28, 2018, one day shy of his 95th birthday, will be held on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the West Los Angeles Holiness Church, 1710 Butler Ave., West Los Angeles. Family requests casual attire and no flowers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Kimiko; children, Deborah (James) Rathbun, Cathy (Peter, MD) Tseng, Ronald Ige, Eileen (Curtis) Wong; grandchildren, Matthew Rathbun, Kelli, Kenji, and Koby Tseng, Tiffany (Anthony Stanton) and Christie Ige, Brandon Wong; great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kaylee Rae Ige; brothers, Frank (Kay) and John (Kazuko) Ige; predeceased by sister, Sadako Suzuki; and survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
