Hamae Mary Shoga - Rafu Shimpo

Hamae Mary Shoga, 92-year-old, El Monte, Calif.-born resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully at her home on Aug. 8, 2018, with her loving family at her bedside. Memorial services will be held on Friday, Sept. 21, 11 a.m. at Venice Free Methodist Church, 4871 Centinela Ave. in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by her husband, Yoshio “Fred” Shoga; she is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Bert) Kawahara; son, Ken (Wendy) Shoga; grandchildren, Jennifer Kawahara, Lindsey (Ryan) Meyer, Brian Kawahara, and Kathleen and Michael Shoga; she is also survived by sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
