Kayoko Tamaki
Funeral mass for the late Kayoko Tamaki, 99-year-old, Yokohama born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on January 3, 2019 will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, 11:00am at St. Francis Xavier Chapel 222 S. Hewitt Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Visitation and vigil will be on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Holy Cross Cemetery 5835 W. Slauson Ave, Culver City.
She had a very full life enjoying listening to classical music as well as traveling to sacred places related to her faith and helping out at bake sales and craft activities with her church.
She is predeceased by her husband, Seiichi; she is survived by nephew Glenn Sugiyama of Northern CA and nieces Julia Chew, Rita Hamamoto. Also survived by nieces Yoko Kodama and Kuniko Kumai, grand-nephews Yoshimasa Kodama and Takamori Kumai, as well as sister-in-law Hiroko Kumai, all of whom reside in Yokohama, Japan.
