Mable Masuye Takenaka
May 8, 1928 – November 19, 2020

Mable Masuye Takenaka, Nisei born in Banks, Ore., resident of Monterey Park, Calif., peacefully passed away at her home at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her late husband Frank Takenaka after 71 successful years of marriage. Mable was a beloved and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She also co-founded and successfully operated Precise Escrow Corporation for over 31 years with her sister, paving the way for women and minorities to succeed in business. She will be remembered for always maintaining a noble spirit, humanitarian principles and sincere love and compassion for her family and others.

She is survived by her loving family: children, Candace Shigetomi and Craig (Debbie) Takenaka; granddaughters, Lindsay Shigetomi, Sera and Tara Takenaka; sister, Marie Rollins; close relatives Ruben and Phyllis Kagawa, Bill and Dawn Rothe, Martin Masunaka; and many other relatives and friends.
