William Shikio Oyama (95), a Maui, Hawaii-born Sansei, U.S. Army veteran, passed away on November 19, 2023, in Montebello, Calif. He was the past owner of Bill Oyama Plumbing and Heating Service. A private service was held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Senshin Buddhist Temple.
William is predeceased by his beloved wife, Mieko. He is survived by his children, Joy (Paul) Middo and Ken (Vanessa) Oyama; grandchildren, Alyssa, Kirstyn and Bryce Middo, Kyle and Derek Oyama; brother-in-law, James Segawa; also survived by many other relatives.
