October 25, 1941 – February 20, 2024
Hideki Ueda, 82, of Wakayama, Japan and resident of Brea, passed away on February 20, 2024. A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, he ran Yamato Landscaping Company for 45 years, making many friends along the way. He was a devoted follower of Seicho-No-Ie, and was awarded the Overseas Ring of Light Award in 2016. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Akemi Ueda; son, Jason; daughter, Christine; two grandchildren; and many cousins and relatives.
Funeral service was held at Seicho-No-Ie and burial service at Rose Hills Memorial Park, both officiated by Reverend Bruce Mallery.
