Kristine Satsuye Mayeda (née Inouye), resident of San Gabriel and internee at Gila
River and Tule Lake passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 92. She is survived by daughters, Lynda (Dean) Shoji and Noel Kinoshita; grandchildren, Ryan (Melissa) and Lindsay Shoji, Mikey and Alyssa Kinoshita, Ashley Yamashita; great-grandson, Greyson Shoji; brother, Tamo Inouye; sister, Amy Schultz; brother-in-law, George Mayeda; and other relatives. Predeceased by her husband, Shoji Mayeda and brother, Kenji Inouye.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 11:30 a.m. at Wintersburg Church, 2000 N. Fairview St., Santa Ana, CA 92706, casual attire.
