Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC) will host The Ripple Effect: Walk for Suicide Prevention on Saturday, June 22 from 9 am to 1 pm. The event will raise funds to support the initiatives of Changing Tides. Changing Tides provides a variety of mental health services to AAPI youth in need including free therapy sessions and free suicide prevention training.
The Ripple Effect aims to unite the community in remembrance of the many lives lost to suicide and promote awareness about suicide prevention.
This year, Ripple Effect will take place at Torrance High School’s Zamperini Stadium. The event will host guest speakers, vendors, and mental health resources to bring people together and assist them in recognizing available resources.
