Albert Hideo Okuhara, 91 years old, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, a long-time resident of Monterey Park, California, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024. A private funeral service was held on July 20 at Koyasan Buddhist Temple.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Sachiko Okuhara; daughter, Stephanie; son, Brian; sister in Hawaii, Lillian (Bert) Nakama; sister-in-law in Hawaii, Martha (James) Igawa. Albert had a huge extended family in California and Hawaii. He was loved by everyone who remembers his gentleness and smile. He and his wife, Nancy, had been married for 58 years.
Albert will be always in our hearts forever.
