Visitation for the late Gary Nishitsuji, 72-year-old, Los Angeles-born Sansei, resident of Rosemead who passed away suddenly on December 31, 2024, will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Los Angeles Hongwanji Buddhist Temple from 2 – 4 p.m. Golf or casual attire requested.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Machi Kamei; father-in-law, Katsuya Kamei; sisters-in-law, Michi Higashi, Emi (Glenn) Kusumi, and Cathy (David) Okita; nephew, Michael Okita; nieces, Randi (Logan) Umemoto and Jennifer (Buen) Hatanaka; and great-niece, Lily Hatanaka. Also survived by his sister, Shirley Adachi; nephews, Patrick (Jaclyn) and Brandon (Erica) Adachi; great-nephews, Andrew, Matias, and Milo Adachi; great-niece, Emily Adachi; and many relatives and dear friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Roy and Tomi Nishitsuji; brother-in-law, Pat Adachi; mother-in-law, Kiyomi Kamei; and brother-in-law, Steve Higashi.
