Private family services for the late Bunsho Takeshima, 88-year-old, Tokyo, Japan-born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025, were held at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Hibiki Murakami of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
He is survived by his loving family: wife, Rinko Takeshima; son, Shoji (Shari Keiko) Takeshima; daughter, Mae Norimi (Neil Tsuyoshi) Minamoto; grandchildren, Tyler Kiyoshi Takeshima and Darren Hideo Minamoto; sister, Ikuko Shimizu; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
