On July 29, Consul General of Japan in Los Angeles Kenko Sone presented the Commendation of the Consul General to Takehito Yokoo, who founded the Japan Hydrogen Forum (#JH2F) in 2021 and served as its first chair from 2021 to 2024.
Yokoo now serves as an advisor for JH2F, where he continues to work to increase the presence of Japanese companies in the hydrogen business.
The Commendation of the Consul General was established to recognize an individual or group who has helped advance the mission of the Consulate General and has provided significant contributions to mutual understanding and promoting friendship between Japan and the U.S.
