Funeral services for the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple’s past president, the late Fujiyoshi Yamamoto, 89-year-old, Fukuoka, Japan-born, resident of Monterey Park who passed away on January 20, 2026, will be held under the auspices of the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple on Sunday, February 22, 2 p.m. at the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E.
