Mrs. Sachiko Toyoda, 94, of Arcadia, Calif., passed away peacefully at home on February 9, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Satoru Toyoda.
She is survived by her three children: son, Masaru (Helen); daughter, Mary Etsuko (Manuel Robledo); and son, John Hiroshi. She was a devoted grandmother to Jade Mieko Robledo, Nadine Sachiko (Benson Hsu), and Thor Masaru; and a proud great-grandmother to Kristy Kazumi, Elise Harumi, Sabine Chiemi, Callista Terumi, Caleb, and Cameron. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Meiko (Paris Smith); and many other relatives in Japan.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 10 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Cherry Blossom Urn Gardens, Gate 10, 3888 Workman Mill Rd., Whittier, Calif. In accordance with Sachiko’s wishes for a peaceful and intimate farewell, services will conclude at the graveside and no reception will follow. The family appreciates your understanding and presence at the garden.
