Takeshi (Tak) Watanabe, Los Angeles-born resident of Montebello, peacefully passed away at PIH Hospital in Whittier on January 26.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Kazu Watanabe. He is survived by his loving family: brother, Teruo Watanabe; sisters-in-law, Karen Watanabe, Yuri Watanabe, Jan Watanabe; brother-in-law, Paul Yanagisawa; he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral service was held at Fukui “Chapel in the Garden” with Reverend Yuryu Mori of Koyasan Buddhist Temple officiating.
