Funeral services for the late Mr. Yoshitsugi Kikuno, 89-year-old, Kagoshima, Japan-born, resident of Burbank, who passed away on February 20, 2026, were held on March 13, at Fukui Mortuary “Chapel in the Garden,” officiated by Rev. Yuki Himeji of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Kyoko Kikuno; daughters, Mayumi Ishida, Midori Sartori, and Jenny Sayuri Kikuno; grandchildren, Miya Ahearn, Niki Iwamoto, Kadie Sagun, Victor Flores, Alyssa Lorenzo, Emily Ishida, Allyson Sartori, Jarryd Kikuno, Kylie Sartori, and Brandi Kikuno; great-grandchildren, Landon McAvoy, Jaxon Lepe, Yoshi Ahearn, and Russell Ryosuke Ishida Sagun; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
