The Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival will be presented by the City of Torrance Community Services Department on Sunday, March 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Columbia Park, 4045 190th St. (at Prairie), Torrance.

The family-friendly event, featuring food, crafts, and performances, is free and open to the public with free parking and shuttle service at 20420 Madrona Ave., Torrance.

Main Stage schedule:

11:15 a.m.: Umeboshi L.A. (matsuri pop-up band)

11:45 a.m.: Rafu Mutsumi Kai (mikoshi shrine procession)

12 p.m.: Welcome remarks by Monica Harte with Mayor George Chen

12:05 p.m.: South Bay Little Angels (traditional Chinese dance)

12:45 p.m.: L.A. Koto Ensemble (traditional Japanese music)

1:30 p.m.: Fujima Seiyumi Kai (Nihon buyo dance)

2:15 p.m.: Matsutoyo Kai (traditional shamisen music)

3 p.m.: Sawami (vocalist and Torrance Theatre Co. member)

3:30 p.m.: Asano Taiko U.S. (L.A. community team)
