The Little Tokyo Community Council (LTCC) invites the public to experience Delicious Little Tokyo, a vibrant neighborhood celebration showcasing the rich cultural heritage, small businesses, and culinary traditions of Little Tokyo, on Saturday, April 18, from 12 to 5 p.m.
This highly anticipated annual event brings together residents, visitors, and community partners for a day of immersive experiences throughout the historic district. From guided historical tours to free neighborhood exploration activities, Delicious Little Tokyo highlights the unique character and resilience of one of Los Angeles’ most treasured neighborhoods.

A key highlight of this year’s event is the return of guided walking tours led by the Little Tokyo Historical Society. These tours offer attendees a deeper look into the neighborhood’s layered history, from its early beginnings through periods of displacement, resilience, and cultural preservation. Participants will have the opportunity to explore historic sites, enjoy tastings at legacy businesses, and gain a richer understanding of Little Tokyo’s significance as one of the last remaining Japan-towns in the U.S.
Adding an interactive and contemporary twist, the event will also feature the Pikmin Bloom Mini Walk, inviting attendees to engage with Little Tokyo through a playful, app-based experience. Using the Pikmin Bloom app, participants can explore the neighborhood, discover points of interest, and complete a themed walking route that blends digital interaction with real-world exploration. The Mini Walk encourages visitors to move through the district in new ways while connecting with both the physical and cultural landscape of Little Tokyo.
“Delicious Little Tokyo is more than just a food event — it’s a celebration of community, culture, and the small businesses that make this neighborhood so special,” said Kristin Fukushima, executive director of LTCC.
Delicious Little Tokyo draws more than 1,500 participants annually and supports dozens of local businesses, reinforcing LTCC’s mission to protect, preserve, and promote the character and values of this historic neighborhood.
