A Nikkei Progressives contingent, pictured in the Japanese American National Museum’s Norman Y. Mineta Democracy Plaza in Little Tokyo, participated in a “No Kings” rally held March 28 in Gloria Molina Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles, joined by several immigrant rights and labor organizations. More than 3,300 protests against the Trump Administration’s policies were held across the country with the number of participants estimated at 8 to 9 million.
