
Takako Shiosaki passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 3, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Makoto Shiosaki, who passed on March 15, 1989. Takako was born in Kyoto, Japan and moved to the United States in 1951 after marrying. After getting married, she moved back and forth between Japan and Hawaii as her husband, Makoto was in the Army. She had three sons, Edwin, Alan and Milton. Moving from Hawaii to the mainland in 1965 and finally settling in Gardena, Calif., Takako was a long-time resident of Gardena and a devoted, hardworking mother. She was a lady of many talents. She found great joy in her work at Meiji Market and had a deep passion for arts and crafts. She especially loved sewing, creating Japanese dolls, and continuously learning new computer programs.
Takako is survived by her loving family: Her son, Milton Shiosaki and his wife, Sheri; along with their children, Megan, Skyler and Shane; her son, Ed Shiosaki and his wife, Joan; along with their child, Randy, Christine Shiosaki Tsang and her husband, Mike; and their children, Jarrod, Logan, and Zackery; and Craig and his wife, Jodie; along with their children, Colton, Carter, and Conor.
