Amy Takamatsu, 95, passed away peacefully at home in Fullerton, Calif., surrounded by her loving family. She died from complications of a stroke. Amy was predeceased by her loving husband, Toshio in 2003. She is survived by her son, Gary (Irene); granddaughters, Alyssa (Alex) and Lauren; son, Michael (Fanny); grandson, Brady; daughter, Carole (Steve) Sugimoto; grandsons, Derek (Nat) and Tyler. She also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral and burial services were held in private at Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple and Rose Hills on April 11.
